New JIYU CH1-12 CNC Router Cuts, Carves & Drills in One Pass: A High-Precision, High-Speed Solution to Rising Labor Costs and Material Waste in Custom Furniture Production

2026-08-26

Today's furniture manufacturers are squeezed from every direction: skilled operators are increasingly hard to find and retain; manual cutting produces inconsistent dimensions and up to several percent of material waste; and multi-step processes (sawing, carving, drilling) force factories to buy and maintain several separate machines. For custom and small-batch orders — the fastest-growing segment of the market — frequent changeovers make traditional equipment even more costly and slow.

  • Large 1300×2500mm working table — standard 1220×2440 panels are loaded and processed in full sheets, minimizing handling and offcut waste.
  • High precision — positioning accuracy of 0.01mm and repeat positioning accuracy of 0.05mm ensure every panel, every batch, comes out identical.
  • High speed — 60–80m/min rapid traverse and 25m/min drilling speed dramatically shorten cycle time per panel.
  • Powerful 9kW spindle with 18,000–24,000 rpm speed range cuts cleanly through solid wood, plywood, MDF, particleboard and PVC panels.
  • Servo drive system on all axes delivers smooth, reliable motion for nesting, cutting, engraving and drilling operations.
  • One-machine multifunctionality — CNC router cutting, nesting, carving and wood drilling in a single setup means one operator, one machine, one footprint.

The CH1-12 is purpose-built for the panel-processing industries that need it most: custom furniture and whole-house customization, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, wardrobes and closets, office furniture, doors and panels, acoustic panels, and small-batch production runs where flexibility and speed to changeover directly determine profitability.

Built in Guangdong's woodworking machinery cluster, the CH1-12 is backed by a 1-year warranty, free replacement parts and online technical support. Each machine is supplied with a machinery test report and video outgoing inspection before shipment. JIYU also offers drawing-based, sample-based and full customization, so the machine can be tailored to specific production lines.

Foshan Shunde Jiyu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (JIYU) is a custom manufacturer of CNC woodworking machinery based in Foshan, Guangdong, China, serving furniture and panel-processing customers worldwide with woodworking routers, panel saws, edge banding machines and drilling machines.

For inquiries, sample testing and customized configurations, visit our official website or contact our sales team. Free replacement parts and online technical support are included with every machine.

After years of research and development and practice, CNC cutting machines have developed many mature models, such as three-process cutting machines (entry-level), four-process cutting machines, cutting machining centers, dual-spindle row drilling and package machining centers and One spindle, one row of drills, one tool magazine, machining center, etc. The four-process CNC cutting machine is an economical multi-function CNC equipment.

The four-process CNC cutting machine has four spindles. When producing panel furniture, all four spindles can perform drilling processing. Two of the spindles are high-power spindles dedicated to grooving and blanking, and the other two spindles are dedicated to drilling. In this way, the hole sizes usually encountered in the production of panel furniture can be processed. At the same time, the four-process CNC cutting machine can also be well used in the production of cabinet doors.

All four spindles can be used to make door shapes. When the door shape requires four or less knife types, all Can be processed with pneumatic tool changer. At present, there are relatively few manufacturers using the four-step process, and the price/performance ratio is not very high. However, the four-step cutting machine is relatively good in terms of comprehensive application.

Choosing a woodworking cutting machine must meet our production requirements, determine our own production process requirements, the output needs of the automatic furniture factory, determine the budget for equipment investment, and select a model with an appropriate price through comprehensive consideration of all aspects. After determining the model, you need to consider the quality of the equipment, buy the right product at the right price, and pursue a cost-effective product. Choose a high-quality product by examining the strength of the equipment manufacturing factory, the core accessories of the machine (including control systems, drive systems, racks, guide rails, reducers, frequency converters, electrical components, pneumatic parts, etc.), and the manufacturer's service quality.

Revolutionizing manufacturing with smart boring machines

The CH1-12 is a true multifunctional CNC woodworking router, combining panel cutting, nesting (optimized sheet layout), carving and wood drilling in a single machine. A typical cabinet part — cutting to size, drilling hinge and connector holes, and engraving logos or decorative patterns — can be completed in one setup with one operator. This eliminates the need for separate saws, routers and drilling machines, saving floor space, capital investment and setup time, and is ideal for custom furniture and small-batch production where flexibility decides profitability.

The 9kW spindle operates across a wide speed range of 18,000–24,000 rpm, delivering clean, burr-free cuts on solid wood, plywood, MDF, particleboard and PVC panels. The high power rating allows deeper cuts and faster feed rates in a single pass, while the high-speed range produces smooth surface finishes for carving and edge work. This combination gives operators the flexibility to switch between aggressive roughing and fine finishing without changing machines.

All motion axes are driven by a servo drive system, which provides faster acceleration, precise positioning and stable torque control compared to conventional stepper systems. Servo drives maintain accuracy even during heavy cutting loads, reduce vibration and deliver the smooth motion required for high-quality nesting and engraving paths. The result is longer machine life, consistent part quality and reliable 24/7 operation in production environments.

Weighing approximately 1,500kg with overall dimensions of 3700×2350×2200mm, the CH1-12 features a heavy-duty welded frame that absorbs cutting vibration and maintains geometric stability over years of use. A stable base is the foundation of precision: it keeps the gantry rigid during high-speed rapid moves and heavy cuts, protecting spindle life and preserving accuracy. The machine runs on AC380V/50Hz three-phase power, standard for industrial workshops.

Every CH1-12 is supplied with a machinery test report and undergoes video outgoing inspection before shipment, so customers can verify the machine's condition before it leaves the factory. The machine is covered by a 1-year warranty and includes free replacement parts and online technical support, ensuring rapid response for maintenance questions and spare part needs after installation.
